I use to despise the color green when it came to clothing. There has never been a particular reason for it (perhaps I felt it didn't look good on me?), but I don't think I've ever owned something green. The majority of my wardrobe has been black for as long as I can remember, with pops of reds, blues and pinks sprinkled in. And now, there's a single pop of green (and I'm not mad at it).

I found this 1960's lime green vintage dress while on a vintage shopping haul and fell in love. My first thought was "Tinkerbell meets Twiggy". The dress is made of a light-weight textured woven cotton and is a surprisingly lovely lime green color -- though it is bright, it is somehow also subtle. The sleeveless shift silhouette is quintessentially '60s and made even sweeter with the white collar.

To keep the look simple, I paired it with a pair of nude pumps, which let the dress stand out and elongated my already long legs. I added a small pop of additional color with a yellow vintage bangle, surrounded by a couple white bangles from Pinup in a Pack. My beloved vintage wicker tic-tac-toe handbag compliments the Spring feeling of this look perfectly, too!

What do you think?
